Woodland & Forestry – Management Plans

Forests and woodlands are our ecological heritage providing enormous benefits visually, recreationally, environmentally and commercially.

Forests and woodland grow without any help from man but may require management to direct them towards particularly objectives such as recreation or timber production.

Detailed management plans may involve a short term plan of five years or long term of twenty five years enabling resources, grants and finances to be planned and scheduled as appropriate.

The Care of Trees can help from an initial survey of the woodland, to formulating objectives of management, leading onto a detailed management plan for the woodland which may include grant aid, financial forecast and scheduling of forest operations.
